Fueling Skills Acceleration Across the Middle East

The launch of the Arabic platform is a direct response to the growing demand for high-quality, localized learning experiences in the Middle East and North Africa. By providing its platform in Arabic, Udemy is enabling professionals in the region to seamlessly upskill and reskill in critical, high-growth fields. The platform’s existing Multi-Language Collection already features over 7,000 Arabic courses, covering everything from AI and cloud computing to essential leadership skills, which have already seen an enrollment of over one million learners in the last year.

"At Udemy, we believe language should never be a barrier to professional growth," said Hugo Sarrazin, President and CEO of Udemy. "Localizing our platform in Arabic strengthens our ability to serve our growing customer base across the region with culturally relevant, high-quality reskilling experiences. With this launch, we’re helping unlock new opportunities for workforce development, product innovation, and business growth throughout the Arabic-speaking world."

Empowering a New Generation of Professionals

The new Arabic platform is set to make professional development more accessible and culturally resonant for Arabic-speaking professionals. According to Dr. Ryan Ahmed, a Udemy instructor and CEO of Stemplicity, this localization will help professionals build critical skills with greater speed and confidence. Dr. Ahmed's own course, "Artificial Intelligence from Beginner to Professional," is one of the many resources now available in Arabic on the platform.

“With Udemy's platform now available in Arabic, professionals in the region can seamlessly access high-quality, locally relevant learning experiences," said Dr. Ryan Ahmed, Udemy instructor, CEO of Stemplicity, and Assistant Professor at McMaster University. "This advancement not only removes language barriers but also empowers Arabic-speaking professionals and leaders to build critical skills with greater confidence, speed, and cultural resonance.”
