Trust3 AI, a frontrunner in enterprise AI-driven solutions, has appointed Alberto Romero as its new Head of AI. With a strong track record across fintech, insurance, and cybersecurity, Romero will spearhead the company’s efforts to expand real-time, intelligent decision-making capabilities for global businesses.

Romero’s appointment follows a series of high-impact roles in the AI industry. He co-founded Humn.ai, an InsurTech startup where he built low-latency machine learning systems for mobility risk prediction. Under his leadership, Humn.ai secured Series B funding and was later acquired by Aon.
Most recently, Romero served as Director of Generative AI Engineering at Citi, where he led the design and implementation of one of the largest internal generative AI platforms in the finance industry. With over 25,000 daily users, the platform integrated production-grade retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems and autonomous AI agents—an accomplishment that positioned Citi among the most advanced GenAI adopters in global banking.

Romero holds an MSc in AI/ML from Caltech, and is a recognized voice at global AI conferences. He is known for pioneering advancements in AI pipeline evaluation and building intelligent systems that translate AI complexity into business results.
