TNL Mediagene successfully hosted INSIDE Future Day 2025 in Taipei, drawing over 400 registrations and featuring discussions on next-generation AI agents and their role in human-AI collaboration within enterprises. The event also marked the release of the company's latest white paper on AI agent adoption in Taiwan, offering insights from industry experts and surveys to guide organizational strategies.
INSIDE Future Day, TNL Mediagene's flagship technology forum since 2019, brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and executives to explore emerging trends in innovation and industry shifts. This year's theme, "Next-Gen AI Agents: Building a New Era of Human-AI Collaboration," delved into the transition toward more autonomous AI systems that enhance enterprise processes and decision-making.
The forum attracted participants from technology and business sectors, featuring perspectives from global technology leaders, Taiwan's telecom operators, semiconductor firms, and startups. Discussions spanned the AI ecosystem, including foundational technologies, cloud platforms, and practical enterprise applications, providing actionable insights for AI agent implementation.
Andrew Mayne, co-founder of Interdimensional, host of the official OpenAI Podcast, OpenAI's first prompt engineer, and contributor to ChatGPT-4o development, shared expertise on evolving AI capabilities. Lee-Feng Chien, former Managing Director of Google Taiwan — Google's largest R&D hub in Asia-Pacific — current board member of AI-driven AdTech and MarTech firm Appier, and independent director at multiple leading enterprises, offered views on regional AI adoption challenges.
Speakers addressed how AI agents could influence workflows, highlighting the need for multimodal understanding and structured evaluation to align with organizational needs.
During the event, INSIDE released "AI Agent Era: Enterprise Adoption in Taiwan and Future Challenges," based on interviews with over 20 AI agent solution providers and surveys from more than 150 participants — over half in mid-level to senior management. The white paper identifies operational hurdles in AI integration and stresses the importance of autonomous task support and robust frameworks for assessment.
Combined with forum insights, the research points to heightened enterprise focus on relating AI agents to existing processes and long-term planning.
