TensorWave, the AMD-exclusive AI cloud provider, has partnered with Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd to integrate Credo’s ZeroFlap (ZF) family of Active Electrical Cables (AECs) and Optics into its next-generation AI cluster infrastructure. This collaboration enhances TensorWave’s ability to deliver faster time to first token, higher cluster utilization, and production-grade reliability for large-scale AI training and inference workloads.

By incorporating Credo’s advanced interconnect solutions, TensorWave strengthens network performance and high-availability in its all-AMD GPU clusters, supporting demanding enterprise and AI lab customers.

Quick Intel

  • TensorWave deploys Credo’s ZeroFlap AECs and Optics across future AI cluster builds for improved interconnect reliability.
  • Solution enables faster transition from physical deployment to first token output and higher tokens per hour per workload.
  • ZeroFlap technology delivers up to 1,000 times better reliability than legacy solutions, with 100 million hours MTBF and zero soft-error link-flap events.
  • Credo’s ZF Optics feature hardened designs, advanced telemetry, and in-band messaging for remote bare-metal management.
  • Integration with Credo’s PILOT platform provides real-time monitoring, proactive fault isolation, and superior optical interconnect reliability.
  • Partnership aligns with TensorWave’s focus on AMD Instinct GPUs optimized for high-bandwidth, memory-intensive AI workloads.

Enhancing Reliability in Massive AI Clusters

As AI cluster sizes expand rapidly, interconnect reliability has emerged as a critical factor limiting time-to-revenue and sustained uptime. Credo’s ZeroFlap AECs and Optics address this challenge with proven, scale-out performance already demonstrated through millions of deployments in large AI networks.

The technology eliminates common failure modes such as link-flap events caused by soft errors, ensuring consistent high availability. Combined with Credo’s PILOT telemetry platform, it enables deep, real-time visibility and rapid fault resolution—essential for maintaining production-grade clusters.

“As AI cluster sizes continue to grow, interconnect reliability becomes a critical limiter—both for time‑to‑revenue and sustained uptime,” said Ameet Suri, VP for AEC Product, Credo. “Credo’s ZeroFlap AECs and Optics enable innovative infrastructure providers like TensorWave to architect and scale hardened networks faster, while delivering consistently high availability to their customers.”

Optimized for AMD-Powered AI Infrastructure

TensorWave’s all-AMD cloud leverages Instinct Series GPUs to provide high-bandwidth, memory-optimized infrastructure tailored for demanding training and inference tasks. The addition of Credo’s interconnect solutions complements this by reducing deployment friction and maximizing cluster efficiency.

“At TensorWave, we are building large-scale, AMD-exclusive AI infrastructure designed for production from day one,” said Darrick Horton, Founder and CEO of TensorWave. “As cluster sizes grow, network reliability becomes just as critical as GPU performance. Credo’s ZeroFlap AECs and Optics help us reduce deployment friction, accelerate time to first token, and maintain high cluster utilization, ensuring our customers can train and deploy models with confidence at scale.”

This partnership positions TensorWave to offer more robust, reliable AI cloud services while supporting the growing demand for scalable, high-performance computing resources.
