TeamViewer has announced the launch of Tia Scripting, a new AI-powered capability within TeamViewer DEX designed to help IT teams generate device automation scripts using plain language. The feature enables organizations to automate complex IT tasks without requiring scripting expertise, making endpoint management more efficient and scalable across enterprise environments.
TeamViewer has enhanced its Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform with Tia Scripting, an AI-driven capability that enables IT teams to create device automation scripts by simply describing a problem or desired outcome in natural language.
Unlike traditional IT automation tools that rely on predefined templates or generic playbooks, Tia Scripting is designed to address organization-specific operational challenges. The AI generates tailored automation scripts that IT administrators can review before deploying them to selected devices or groups.
Tia Scripting helps organizations automate a wide range of endpoint management tasks, including verifying security certificates, ensuring critical applications remain operational, restricting unauthorized software changes, and automatically triggering remediation when security tools are removed.
The capability also supports customized network troubleshooting and compliance checks, allowing organizations to generate scripts that reflect their own IT infrastructure, configurations, and operational requirements.
One of the key advantages of Tia Scripting is the ability to reuse generated automation scripts across an organization's device estate. Once a successful automation workflow has been created, IT teams can standardize and deploy it wherever similar issues occur.
This approach reduces repetitive manual work and supports TeamViewer's broader strategy of applying AI to retain operational knowledge instead of treating every endpoint issue as an isolated incident. As enterprise device environments continue to expand, reusable automation can help improve consistency and operational efficiency.
"Every IT environment is unique, and the issues teams face every day reflect that complexity. A one-size-fits-all approach to automation has never been enough. With Tia Scripting, we're giving IT teams the ability to build automation precisely matched to their organization's specific challenges, without requiring every team member to be a scripting expert. That's how we move IT operations closer to truly autonomous endpoint management," said Sebastian Schrötel, Senior Vice President Product Management, TeamViewer.
The launch reflects TeamViewer's continued investment in AI-powered Digital Employee Experience solutions that simplify IT operations while enabling organizations to manage increasingly complex digital workplaces with greater speed and efficiency.
