The Agentic AI 2025 Hackathon, hosted by Talentica Software, brought together engineers, QAs, DevOps professionals, architects, and UX designers to innovate in SDLC automation. Held remotely over 48 hours, the event encouraged original solutions to enhance speed, efficiency, and quality in software development. With 303 participants forming 38 teams, the hackathon emphasized practical, AI-driven tools that avoid replicating existing solutions.
Team TX clinched the top prize with an AI agent designed to transform vague or limited requirements into comprehensive product requirement documents (PRDs). The solution factored in critical elements like budget, target market, customer base, and time-to-market, earning the team ₹1 lakh in gift vouchers and the chance to develop their prototype into a market-ready product. Team QB, the runner-up, impressed with a solution incorporating natural language processing (NLP) for personalized profiles, advanced search capabilities, template modifications, and LangChain-based tools. Additional awards went to Team Virtual Vanguard for Best Idea and Team AIncredibles for Best Presentation.
The hackathon underscored Talentica’s commitment to fostering an AI-native mindset. “Hackathons are crucial for cross-team collaboration, staying ahead of trends, and building hands-on skills for AI-native initiatives,” said Anindita Dey, Senior Manager – People Group. The event’s focus on user-centric solutions was evident, with judges commending teams for aligning their projects with impactful use cases. “We always start with the user story,” said Aniket Shaligram, VP of Technology. “Seeing brilliant minds align to that and build AI agents delivering cutting-edge solutions is inspiring.”
Projects were evaluated based on SDLC relevance, level of automation, innovation, technical completeness, and performance observability. The diverse participant pool, ranging from freshers to engineering managers and including non-engineers, enriched the collaborative environment. This diversity drove the creation of multifaceted solutions addressing real-world software development challenges.
Talentica’s Agentic AI 2025 Hackathon highlights the company’s leadership in AI-driven product engineering. By fostering innovation and collaboration, Talentica continues to push the boundaries of SDLC automation, empowering engineers to create solutions that drive efficiency and quality in software development.
