McCann joins Sovos with more than two decades of executive experience scaling enterprise SaaS platforms, leading large-scale technology transformations, and delivering measurable business impact in highly regulated industries. His appointment reinforces Sovos' commitment to category leadership in global tax and regulatory compliance software. Most recently, McCann served as Chief Technology Officer at Self Financial, where he drove platform modernization and organizational transformation initiatives.

McCann previously served as CTO at Self Financial and held senior technology roles at Abrigo, Accruent, and CLEAResult.
He has served as board member and software operating partner for venture and private equity firms, involved in more than $5 billion in business outcomes.
McCann will lead global technology organization to expand data and AI capabilities, building on Sovi AI and Sovos Tax Compliance Cloud.
