  • Skild AI acquires Zebra Technologies' Robotics Automation business and Symmetry Fulfillment platform
  • Skild Brain, the first omnibodied AI, can now control any robot in any warehouse environment
  • The acquisition enables orchestration of entire fleets of robots at enterprise scale
  • Combined solution creates end-to-end warehouse automation using humanoids, robotic arms, AMRs, and more
  • Skild AI aims to transform fragmented warehouse automation into orchestrated intelligence
  • Company grew to approximately $30M revenue in early 2025 and is positioned for rapid enterprise deployment

Breaking the Fragmentation in Warehouse Automation

Warehouse robots today are typically programmed for specific tasks and locked to particular hardware. Changing the robot often means starting the programming process from scratch. Skild AI’s Skild Brain changes this paradigm by generalizing across different robot types — including humanoids, mobile robots, and industrial arms — without requiring retraining for each new body form.

With the addition of Zebra’s battle-tested Symmetry orchestration platform, Skild AI can now deploy and manage entire fleets of robots in real time, working seamlessly alongside human workers in existing warehouse environments.

Creating End-to-End Warehouse Automation

The acquisition allows Skild AI to offer a complete automation solution for modern warehouses. This includes humanoids for pick-and-place operations, robotic dogs for inspection, robotic arms for packing, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for material movement, and a single orchestration layer to control all of them.

Logistics operators will no longer need to redesign their warehouses around specific robots or work with multiple fragmented vendors. Instead, they can implement a unified intelligent system that adapts to their existing infrastructure.

Accelerating Deployment and Scaling Intelligence

Skild AI grew from zero to approximately $30M in revenue within just a few months in 2025. The integration of Zebra’s orchestration capabilities is expected to significantly accelerate the pace of enterprise deployments across the AI robotics industry.

Every new deployment will contribute to Skild AI’s data flywheel, continuously improving the Skild Brain’s performance across diverse warehouse environments and tasks.

A New Era of Human-Machine Collaboration

This combination brings together advanced AI capabilities with proven real-world orchestration, creating what the company describes as a “living symphony” of human and machine autonomy in warehouses.

"Warehouse automation remains deeply fragmented today, with classical approaches falling short in most real-world scenarios — a fundamental barrier to achieving true operational efficiency. Tearing down and rebuilding warehouses to suit pre-programmed robots is simply not a viable economic solution. By combining Zebra's human-robot orchestration platform with Skild AI's omnibodied brain, we are set to transform what end-to-end automation looks like in warehouses that exist today. Zebra's orchestration layer brings humans into the fold alongside Skild AI's vision of 'any robot, any task, one brain' — turning warehouses into living symphonies of human and machine autonomy." — Deepak Pathak, CEO, Skild AI

“Lack of automated grasping and complex manipulation continues to slow down warehouses. The Skild Brain in conjunction with the Zebra’s tried and tested person-to-goods solution will turn warehouses into hubs of hyper-efficiency.” — Abhinav Gupta, President, Skild AI

The combined platform positions Skild AI to deliver scalable, flexible automation solutions that can be deployed rapidly in existing warehouse operations across industries.
