Simpplr Expands Enterprise AI Governance Capabilities

Simpplr has announced the launch of the AI Control Center, a centralized governance layer designed to help enterprises deploy AI capabilities securely across digital workplace environments.

The new feature provides IT administrators with a single console to oversee AI-related activity across Simpplr’s employee experience platform, including feature management, provider selection, audit tracking, and compliance oversight.

According to the company, the AI Control Center was developed to address increasing enterprise concerns around AI governance, security risks, and access management as organizations scale AI adoption internally.

IT Teams Gain Centralized AI Oversight

The AI Control Center allows organizations to enable or disable individual AI features while choosing from Simpplr-approved large language model providers or routing AI requests through corporate-owned accounts using bring-your-own-LLM (BYO-LLM) support.

Every administrative configuration change is recorded in a chronological audit log to improve compliance visibility and security traceability for enterprise IT and information security teams.

A recent Forrester Consulting study commissioned by Simpplr found that 78% of IT leaders believe stronger security frameworks are necessary for scaling AI safely. Nearly half of respondents identified AI security and access control risks as their top operational challenge.

Simpplr says the new governance infrastructure is intended to close that gap by giving enterprises more direct control over AI deployment decisions.

"Most IT leaders I talk to are in the same spot — they want to greenlight AI, but they have to say no to risk, so they end up saying 'not yet' to both," said Dhiraj Sharma, CEO of Simpplr. "Our new AI Control Center gives IT one place to govern every AI feature in our platform. Leaders can choose the LLM that fits. Every change is tracked, and every action is accountable. You shouldn't have to choose between enabling AI and governing it."

Governance Layer Covers Multiple AI Features

Simpplr has integrated AI capabilities into its intranet and employee experience platform across several operational areas, including enterprise search, communications, content creation, and workflow automation.

The AI Control Center now centralizes governance for all these AI capabilities within a single administrative layer.

Enterprise Search

The platform delivers contextual AI-generated answers directly within employee search results.

Comms Agent

Internal communications teams can use conversational AI workflows to plan campaigns and generate messaging.

Writing Assistant

The writing assistant helps users create and refine content more efficiently.

App Tile Builder

AI-powered app tile creation simplifies custom application setup within the digital workplace environment.

AI Content Summaries

The platform can automatically condense long-form content into concise summaries for employees.

Enterprise AI Adoption Requires Greater Control

Simpplr emphasized that enterprise IT and security teams increasingly need governance mechanisms that balance AI innovation with compliance, data residency, and vendor management requirements.

The AI Control Center enables administrators to configure AI deployments based on organizational policies while maintaining visibility across the platform’s broader AI footprint.

For organizations with stricter infrastructure requirements, BYO-LLM support allows companies to maintain control over model routing, data residency, and provider relationships.

The company says the feature is designed specifically for enterprise environments where security, governance, lifecycle management, and compliance remain critical adoption considerations.

The AI Control Center is now available as part of the Simpplr platform.
