ServiceNow, the AI platform for business transformation, is expanding its global presence with a new regional innovation hub and AI Institute at 10 CityPlace in West Palm Beach, Florida. This development, part of Florida’s Gold Coast innovation corridor, is expected to deliver a $1.8 billion economic impact and create over 850 high-quality jobs by 2030, positioning the city as a hub for AI innovation, talent development, and economic growth.
Located at Related Ross’s 10 CityPlace, ServiceNow’s new facility will serve as the anchor tenant, occupying up to 200,000 square feet. The hub will focus on product innovation, enterprise AI development, and workforce education, featuring an AI Institute with a startup accelerator to support early-stage tech companies through mentorship and pilot opportunities. An Executive Briefing Center will foster collaboration among thought leaders, partners, and customers, while ServiceNow University will offer AI-focused education, skilling, and certifications for employees, partners, and the local community. Bill McDermott, chairman and CEO of ServiceNow, stated: “The AI innovation economy has a new epicenter in the Gold Coast of West Palm Beach, Florida. This will be a compelling magnet for talent, a strong engine for growth, and a dynamic hub for America’s AI leadership.”
The expansion is projected to generate a $1.8 billion economic impact and create over 850 jobs with an average annual wage of $170,000, making ServiceNow one of Palm Beach County’s largest employers. Supported by a $17 million incentive package, including $13 million from Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity, $2 million in additional state grants, and $2 million from West Palm Beach, the project includes clawback provisions to ensure hiring goals are met. Mayor Keith A. James emphasized: “ServiceNow’s decision to invest in West Palm Beach is a major milestone for our city. This is about more than just office space. It’s about creating high-quality jobs, equipping our residents with the skills to succeed, and positioning our city at the forefront of the AI economy.”
ServiceNow’s RiseUp initiative will support the expansion through community-based partnerships and academic collaborations, targeting emerging tech talent, including veterans and career-transitioners. Karen Pavlin, chief workforce innovation officer, noted: “Talent is everywhere. Opportunity just needs to show up. Our West Palm Beach expansion reflects ServiceNow’s commitment to innovation and the communities we serve. Together with West Palm Beach, we are building a national model for inclusive digital transformation.” The initiative aligns with regional efforts like the Gold Coast Tech Accelerator and partnerships with universities and public agencies to close the talent gap.
The expansion strengthens Southeast Florida’s emergence as a global innovation hub, supported by initiatives like the Florida Council of 100 and eMerge Americas. Florida Secretary of Commerce Alex Kelly stated: “This investment reflects the strength of our talent pipeline, our spirit of innovation, and a shared vision for building a world-class digital economy.” U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling added: “America is setting the global standard for technology and AI policy, and critical investments like ServiceNow’s are proof of that leadership.” Stephen Ross, CEO of Related Ross, highlighted the broader impact: “As a leader in enterprise AI, ServiceNow will catalyze innovation and economic opportunity in West Palm Beach, positioning the city as a premier destination for forward-thinking technology companies.”
