Thales adopts SAP RISE private cloud on S3NS PREMI3NS infrastructure to advance digital sovereignty. Partnership brings SAP enterprise applications and Business AI to SecNumCloud-qualified trusted cloud in France by H2 2026.
SAP and S3NS, the trusted cloud provider established by Thales and Google Cloud, have formed a strategic partnership to strengthen trusted cloud capabilities in France and support Europe’s demand for secure cloud business transformation.
Thales is adopting SAP RISE private cloud edition on S3NS’ SecNumCloud-qualified Cloud Platform, known as PREMI3NS. This deployment, expected by H2 2026, will allow organizations to run critical workloads in a trusted environment fully aligned with French and European regulations.
The partnership enables customers to combine SAP’s innovation, scalability, and Business AI capabilities within an environment that meets the highest regulatory requirements. Data remains stored, processed, and encrypted in France under French jurisdiction while benefiting from SAP’s full innovation stack.

As the first SAP customer on S3NS’ SecNumCloud infrastructure, Thales is undertaking a major refoundation of its SAP ERP landscape. The program adopts SAP’s ‘clean core’ principle to unify core business processes including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement on the PREMI3NS trusted cloud platform.

SAP has selected S3NS to expand its Sovereign Cloud ecosystem in France, leveraging S3NS’s SecNumCloud-aligned infrastructure designed to protect sensitive data against extraterritorial laws. The offering is expected to be commercially available by H2 2026.

S3NS currently serves more than sixty customers and offers the broadest range of services on the market, with plans to add 30 more managed services over the next 12 months, including Vertex AI services to facilitate AI adoption.
This partnership signals to large enterprises and public sector organizations that trusted cloud is now a scalable, industrialized solution. It allows accelerated cloud and AI transformation without regulatory compromises, backed by a clear delivery roadmap.
