Revizto, leading Collaboration Hub for AECO industry, has launched 5.18 introducing draft-first approach to technical review across 2D drawings and 3D models. Draft Mode leads release supported by new ways to connect project data, streamline review and improve performance across complex projects. Release also adds bulk import and export of custom model data, redesigned 2D navigation and four times faster model loading.

Quick Intel

  • Revizto launches 5.18 with draft-first approach to technical reviews in 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Draft Mode enables capture and refine issues and markups privately before publishing, auto-saving locally.
  • Custom Property CSV Export/Import updates project information across multiple model objects without changing source BIM.
  • Models load 4x faster than 5.17 helping teams move into review more quickly on heaviest projects.
  • Redesigned 2D navigation groups tools, contextual menus, on-sheet filtering, pins and markups together.
  • Markups that travel copy paste annotations between sheets and projects plus Revit title-block alignment and scaled comparison.

Draft Mode Closes Review-to-Decision Gap Between Discussions and Record

Points raised on site or in coordination meetings often discussed and refined on whiteboards, PDFs and across email threads, then pieced together afterwards before anyone decides what needs formal action. Revizto 5.18 closes review-to-decision gap between project discussions and project record.

With Draft Mode, users can now capture feedback and decide what to do with it later. They can create issue drafts in 2D or 3D alongside markup drafts on drawings and privately edit existing issues and their annotations before publishing changes. Drafts save locally and remain private to author until ready to share or turn work into tracked issue. They can also be exported to PDF for meetings or review. Drawing, model location and surrounding project context stay connected throughout.

Keep Project Data in Context With Faster Performance

5.18 also introduces Custom Property CSV Export/Import giving teams easier way to update project information across multiple model objects without changing source BIM files. Particularly valuable for organizations that may not create model themselves but still need to maintain own project data on top. Installation status, contractor details, work packages, inspection information can stay connected to model context where teams plan, coordinate and deliver.

Once updated those properties can be used across Search Sets, filters and visual workflows giving teams more ways to organize project information, understand progress and bring data that matters into technical review and risk management. Complex models now load four times faster than in Revizto 5.17. Meanwhile redesigned 2D navigation keeps common review tools and relevant project information closer to work itself helping teams move between sheets, issues and annotations with less switching and more context.
