Workday as System of Record Event-Driven Sync and Scheduled Polling for Global EOR

Workday is already system of record for many enterprise customers, said Nurasyl Serik, CEO and Co-founder of RemoFirst. "This integration means their people data flows directly into RemoFirst platform without any manual re-entry. HR teams can continue to focus on their people, not their admin."

As companies grow internationally, keeping HR systems in sync becomes significant operational challenge. Same data entered multiple times, records fall out of sync, teams spend valuable hours resolving discrepancies.

With new integration, HR and People Ops leaders can connect Workday to RemoFirst directly from integrations screen, automatically sync hires, updates, terminations, compensation changes, and time-off entries, help eliminate duplicate data entry and reduce risk of errors, trigger RemoFirst onboarding and offboarding workflows automatically as events occur in Workday, map specific Workday fields to RemoFirst attributes, with full control over what data comes through.

Integration especially valuable for companies using RemoFirst Employer of Record services to hire employees globally, helping ensure workforce data remains accurate across payroll, compliance, onboarding.

How it works: Workday acts as single source of truth for all worker data. Integration uses event-driven model for HCM events such as hires, terminations, profile updates, and compensation changes helping ensure reflected in RemoFirst promptly. To synchronize time-off data, RemoFirst uses scheduled polling mechanism every 12 hours retrieving incremental updates from Workday APIs based on last-modified timestamps.

Manual Sync Now option also available for teams that need on-demand updates. Authentication handled via OAuth 2.0, and data transferred using REST API over HTTPS with SOAP/WWS used selectively where required fields not available via REST. All data transfers fully secured. Clients can configure exactly which Workday fields map to RemoFirst only explicitly approved fields processed.

Simple to activate, no extra cost. Admins can activate directly from RemoFirst platform by following guided configuration flow covering authentication, talent mapping, and time-off sync preferences. No additional fees or lengthy implementation timelines. Additional information found on Workday Marketplace.
