Built on Red Hat OpenShift AI and powered by NVIDIA, Telenor AI Factory addresses stringent national and EU requirements for data residency and digital sovereignty while providing high-performance infrastructure for AI model training, inference, and agentic workflows. This solution accelerates the journey from AI experimentation to real-world business value by offering a scalable, cloud-native foundation that supports multi-tenant environments and sensitive workloads.
Telenor draws on its extensive experience in critical infrastructure to meet growing demands for sovereign AI, where organizations require in-region data control, enhanced security, and resilience. The AI Factory’s architecture follows NVIDIA’s reference design to optimize compute-intensive tasks while maintaining strict governance over sensitive information.
Red Hat OpenShift AI serves as the unified environment for data scientists, AI engineers, and developers to collaborate on model lifecycles, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic workflows with LlamaStack. Red Hat Consulting assisted in designing an architecture that provisions resources, enforces multi-tenancy, and upholds data sovereignty for external enterprise customers.
