The Boston Business Journal has named RapDev one of the Largest Private Companies in Massachusetts, ranking the Boston-based company No. 130. Published in the September issue, the annual list ranks privately held companies across all industries in the Commonwealth by annual revenue.

This is the first time RapDev has been ranked among the largest companies in the Commonwealth across all industries, rather than by growth rate or within a technology-specific peer group.

Why Enterprise Demand Drives RapDev Growth to Top 130

RapDev has grown revenue by 54% over the past two years and has increased headcount from 35 employees in 2021 to 175 today.

"We've grown by doing the work enterprises depend on every day: cutting incident resolution times, maximizing returns on platform investments, and scaling operations without adding headcount," said Ayaan Israni, Principal at RapDev. "Being ranked among the state's largest private companies is a measure of how quickly enterprise demand for that has grown."

While rooted in Boston, RapDev continues to expand nationally and internationally, with new hires across EMEA and, most recently, APAC. This growth is being driven by customer demand for scalable automation and AI-powered operational transformation.

How AI and Agentic Platform Operator Fuel Scalable Operations

AI is also fueling RapDev's growth. The company establishes the data and governance foundations that AI depends on, then implements and operates capabilities such as Datadog's Bits Investigation and Agent Observability, as well as ServiceNow's AI Control Tower. RapDev has also built its own AI-powered MSP offering, Agentic Platform Operator (APO), a governed AI agent platform that runs the full operational loop inside a customer's ServiceNow environment, from decomposing requests to executing changes in tracked update sets and assembling promotion packages for engineer review, with every action bound by policy.

Earlier this year, RapDev was named Datadog's Partner of the Year for North America for an unprecedented fifth consecutive year and received Datadog's Innovation in Services Award. As a Datadog Premier Partner and ServiceNow Elite Partner, the company offers more Datadog Marketplace integrations than any other partner and publishes its own tools on the ServiceNow Store, including the patented CSDM as Code and patent-pending Tag Generator.
