PwC and Anthropic have announced a major expansion of their strategic alliance aimed at scaling enterprise AI adoption across technology development, deal execution and business operations.
The expanded collaboration focuses on deploying agentic AI operating models powered by Anthropic’s Claude AI technologies to help organizations automate workflows, accelerate software development and transform enterprise functions at scale.
PwC and Anthropic stated that the expanded partnership is designed to help enterprises move from isolated AI experimentation toward fully operational AI-native business models.
The companies identified three primary focus areas:
According to the announcement, engineering teams using Claude Code are already deploying production software for enterprises across industries including financial services, healthcare, life sciences and consumer markets in significantly shorter timeframes.
The partnership also aims to modernize enterprise workflows across finance, supply chain, HR and software engineering functions through scalable AI-native operating models.
PwC announced the launch of a Claude-native finance business group that combines Anthropic’s AI technologies with PwC’s domain expertise.
The initiative integrates Claude into productivity workflows, Cowork environments and Claude Code implementations to support functions including:
PwC stated that both organizations first deployed the technologies internally before expanding them into enterprise client environments.
“The conversation around AI has shifted from possibility to execution,” said Paul Griggs, US Senior Partner and CEO, PwC. “Clients are looking for ways to apply AI that are secure, responsible, and capable of delivering measurable outcomes in complex business environments. Our collaboration with Anthropic brings together advanced AI capabilities and PwC's industry experience to help organizations move from exploration to enterprise-wide impact with greater confidence.”
PwC and Anthropic highlighted several active enterprise deployments already operating in production environments.
Examples include:
The companies stated that some clients have reported operational delivery improvements of up to 70%.
“PwC has been leading AI's expansion into the parts of the economy where accuracy and reliability are non-negotiable—financial services, healthcare, life sciences, cybersecurity—and the results are clear,” said Dario Amodei, Co-founder and CEO, Anthropic. “Insurance underwriting that took ten weeks now takes ten days. Security work that took hours now takes minutes. We're excited to put Claude in the hands of hundreds of thousands of people across PwC's workforce.”
The alliance is also targeting highly regulated sectors including healthcare, life sciences and financial services.
Advocate Health, one of the largest healthcare systems in the United States, is among the organizations preparing for broader enterprise deployment.
“At Advocate Health, we believe this is one of the most consequential moments in the history of health care, and that AI applied with purpose and a genuine commitment to people can help us deliver on our promise of health, hope, and healing for all,” said Andy Crowder, Chief Digital and AI Officer at Advocate Health. “Our collaboration with Anthropic and PwC isn't about deploying technology for its own sake — it's about building the foundation that allows our 167,000 teammates to do more for every patient, in every community we serve, including the rural communities that need us most.”
The partnership is focused on applications including:
PwC announced plans to expand Claude access across its global workforce as part of the alliance expansion.
The company will establish a joint Center of Excellence and train and certify 30,000 PwC U.S. professionals on Anthropic technologies.
Claude is already integrated into ChatPwC, the company’s internal AI assistant platform, and is currently being used across client engagements and AI incubation programs focused on finance, supply chain and deal-making operations.
The announcement reflects broader enterprise trends toward operational AI deployment, agentic workflows and enterprise-scale automation as organizations increasingly move beyond AI pilot programs into production environments.
