Strategic Partnership Expansion

On September 4, 2025, Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PLTR) and Lear Corporation (NYSE: LEA) announced a five-year extension of their partnership, expanding Lear’s use of Palantir’s Foundry, Warp Speed manufacturing operating system, and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP). This deepened collaboration, initially formed in 2023, integrates Palantir’s AI solutions across Lear’s global manufacturing footprint, enhancing operations in seating and E-Systems. Lear President and CEO Ray Scott stated, “Palantir is a key component of our IDEA strategy to automate and streamline manufacturing processes and administrative functions across the company.”

Driving Efficiency and Cost Savings

Palantir’s platforms enable Lear to manage tariff exposure, automate administrative workflows, and dynamically balance manufacturing lines, connecting functions across quality, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, finance, and design. Over 11,000 Lear employees utilize these technologies, driving significant efficiency gains. The IDEA by Lear program, powered by Palantir, has delivered over $30 million in savings in the first half of 2025, with compounding benefits expected. This positions Lear as a more agile and adaptable leader in automotive technology.
