Orbit Analytics, a leading provider of AI-powered enterprise reporting and analytics solutions for Oracle applications, has announced a strategic partnership with Databricks, the Data and AI company. This collaboration aims to provide enterprises with faster, smarter, and more unified data intelligence by combining Orbit's direct-connect integration expertise with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

  • Orbit Analytics partners with Databricks to unify ERP data intelligence for Oracle Fusion, E-Business Suite, and other systems.
  • The partnership introduces Orbit's new Data Pipelines, an ERP-aware framework that delivers curated data to Delta Lake with governance via Unity Catalog.
  • Enterprises can achieve analytics-ready ERP data in hours or days instead of weeks or months.
  • Key features include native integration, automated ingestion/transformation, and support for AI-powered forecasting, anomaly detection, and financial planning.
  • Joint customers benefit from reduced implementation time, lower costs, and elimination of data silos and latency.
  • A real-world example is MARTA, which simplified Oracle Fusion ERP data extraction into Databricks using Orbit's tools.

The partnership integrates Orbit Analytics' capabilities for direct connectivity to Oracle Fusion, E-Business Suite (EBS), and other ERP systems with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. This enables organizations to access governed, timely insights across financial, operational, and strategic data sources. Implementation times and costs are significantly reduced by avoiding complex custom integrations and traditional data warehouse setups.

"Modern enterprises face a critical challenge: unlocking near-real-time insights from complex ERP environments," said Rupesh Sharma, CEO of Orbit Analytics. "By joining forces with Databricks, we're simplifying that process. Customers can now use a single, scalable platform to unify ERP reporting, advanced analytics, and AI-driven decision making—without the traditional data silos or latency that slow business responsiveness."

Orbit Analytics is launching Data Pipelines as part of this collaboration. This ERP-specific pipeline framework moves curated data into Delta Lake while ensuring end-to-end governance through Unity Catalog. Teams can transition from source ERP systems to analytics-ready tables rapidly, without relying on multiple disparate tools.

Customers gain seamless native integration, allowing ingestion, transformation, and analysis of ERP data on Databricks using SQL, Python, and AI models. They can extend Orbit's prebuilt data models with features like Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines, Unity Catalog, and AI/BI tools to modernize enterprise reporting efficiently.

Key advantages for joint customers include native connectivity between Oracle ERP systems, Orbit Analytics, and the Databricks platform; automated pipelines for ERP data handling; enhanced AI capabilities for forecasting, anomaly detection, and planning; lower total cost of ownership versus legacy architectures; and faster rollout using Orbit's prebuilt analytics templates.

A joint customer example is The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), a major U.S. public transit agency serving over 65 million passengers annually. MARTA needed to integrate data from Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM sources. "One of the major challenges we faced was extracting data from Fusion ERP into Databricks using PVOs," said Madhu Chava, Cloud Solutions expert, MARTA. "We onboarded Orbit Analytics, which has greatly simplified this process. The tool enables us to build pipelines seamlessly, extracting data from Oracle Fusion into Databricks. It is very user-friendly, significantly reduces development effort, and provides a wide range of source and destination adapters."

This partnership highlights the shared focus of Orbit Analytics and Databricks on enabling organizations to transform data into actionable business value more quickly, intelligently, and scalably.
