NVIDIA today announced it is collaborating with growing ecosystem of Australian NVIDIA Cloud Partners NCPs and AI infrastructure partners to expand land, power and shell capacity designed to host multiple generations of NVIDIA DSX AI factories, supporting nation growing demand for AI compute with up to 2-gigawatt buildout by 2027. Participating providers will operate AI factories, with NVIDIA delivering DSX platform, accelerated computing, networking, software and ecosystem support. NVIDIA DSX is full-stack AI factory platform spanning facilities infrastructure, computing, networking, software and reference designs. Compatible with NVIDIA CUDA ecosystem and enhanced through software over life of infrastructure, DSX helps operators serve broad range of workloads and customers, improve performance and utilization, and extend useful life of assets strengthening productivity, fungibility, durability, rentability and long-term economics.

Sharon AI deploying up to 68,000 NVIDIA GPUs connected with NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand and Spectrum-X Ethernet. IREN partnering combining DSX architecture with vertically integrated platform across 800-megawatt Bundey campus in South Australia. Megaport expanding access through wholly owned subsidiary Latitude.sh for inference needs with global software-defined network. ResetData building sovereign purpose-built infrastructure for enterprises, government and research requiring Australian data residency. CDC operates more than 550 megawatts capacity across Australia and New Zealand with further 800 megawatts under construction using 100% renewable electricity and zero water advanced cooling certified for NVIDIA. NEXTDC operating liquid-cooled high-density infrastructure interconnected with leading cloud platforms. AirTrunk expanding AI-ready powered shells including direct-to-chip liquid-cooling.
Greater access to accelerated computing enabling developers, AI-native companies and enterprises to build models, applications and agents tailored to local industries. Organizations including Heidi and Atlassian using NVIDIA Nemotron open models, datasets and tools to build and customize AI.
