Nextworld, a leader in AI-powered enterprise platforms, has announced the release of Platform 25.2. This significant update introduces advanced agentic AI capabilities and improved visual automation tooling, all designed to simplify complex development tasks and accelerate innovation across large organizations.

Quick Intel

  • Nextworld releases Platform 25.2 with enhanced AI and automation features.

  • New "ambient agents" can run continuously in the background on real-time data.

  • The AI assistant, Ed, can now generate logic blocks and ask clarifying questions.

  • A new Visual Workflow Builder provides an intuitive graphical interface for automation.

  • The development environment has been upgraded and renamed to "Developer Studio."

  • The update reinforces Nextworld's position as a modern, AI-native enterprise platform.

Advanced AI and Automations

A cornerstone of this release is the introduction of ambient AI agents. Customers can now build and configure these agents to operate continuously in the background, on a schedule, or triggered by specific app events. These always-on agents use real-time data to act autonomously, with human oversight adaptable as the agents learn user preferences over time. While the platform includes built-in agents, customers also have the flexibility to design and deploy agents tailored to their unique business needs.

The update also brings key enhancements to Ed, Nextworld's AI assistant. Ed can now generate logic blocks on demand to jumpstart application development and ask clarifying questions before fulfilling automation requests. This upgraded Human-in-the-Loop functionality ensures greater contextual understanding and accuracy in agentic workflows.

An Improved Developer Experience

Platform 25.2 focuses heavily on improving the developer experience. The primary development environment has been renamed from No-Code Studio to Developer Studio, reflecting a more integrated and powerful interface. Key usability upgrades include an integrated building experience, a new default build environment, and the ability to test and simulate LLM behaviors directly within the Agent Builder.

Furthermore, the release introduces a new Visual Workflow Builder, which replaces a previous tabular interface. This intuitive, graphical tool allows developers to automate and control transactional business processes more easily, reducing complexity and improving productivity comparable to other business process management solutions.

"This release was all about delivering the latest AI features to the Nextworld platform. As always, building a future-proof platform remains top of mind," said Vito Solimene, Founder & CTO of Nextworld. "Nextworld's native AI capabilities are both powerful and accessible, ensuring that our platform can evolve and adapt to keep cutting edge technology in the hands of our customers and the businesses they run."

This release solidifies Nextworld's offering as a modern, enterprise-grade platform that empowers organizations to build, automate, and scale with confidence using cutting-edge AI.
