Oracle NetSuite has announced the launch of NetSuite SuiteCloud Agent Skills, a new set of knowledge packages designed to help developers create and de-risk NetSuite applications. By leveraging the agentskills.io open standard, these skills provide AI coding assistants—across more than 25 platforms—with a deep understanding of SuiteCloud conventions, patterns, and best practices. This shift aims to move organizations away from manual, error-prone coding cycles toward a fast, secure, and AI-assisted development model.
Platform Interoperability: Compatible with over 25 AI coding platforms, enabling developers to build and deploy customizations using natural language.
Open Standard Pioneer: The first ERP platform to leverage the agentskills.io standard for AI coding agents.
Security-First Coding: Includes specific skills for managing 684 permission codes and embedding NetSuite-specific OWASP security guidance.
Legacy Modernization: Features a SuiteScript Conversion Skill that reduces migration time from legacy v1.0 to v2.1 from days to hours.
Automated Documentation: Auto-generates README, ARCHITECTURE, and API files based on direct code analysis.
Availability: User Interface and Permissions skills are available now; additional skills will be released on GitHub soon.
