Menlo Microsystems has announced the appointment of Richard Simoncic as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Simoncic joins Menlo Micro following a distinguished 35-year career at Microchip Technology, where he most recently served as COO and helped transform Microchip into a $5 billion global semiconductor leader.

CEO Appointment

Simoncic joins Menlo Micro following a distinguished 35-year career at Microchip Technology Incorporated, where he most recently served as COO. During his tenure, Simoncic helped transform Microchip into a $5 billion global semiconductor leader, playing a central role in the company's growth, operational scale, product innovation, and strategic execution. At Microchip, he founded the company's analog business and grew it into a $2+ billion annual revenue organization, while integrating more than 30 acquisitions. As COO, he led global operations spanning product strategy, manufacturing, and customer engagement.

Growth and Market Expansion

Menlo Micro's products are helping top semiconductor companies, including NVIDIA, validate and scale production of their advanced chipsets. The company is also expanding its reach into power control through contracts with the Department of War and into quantum computing with the recent launch of a cryogenic switch. Simoncic will initially focus on accelerating growth in semiconductor test and measurement, strengthening customer engagement, and advancing Menlo Micro's product strategy across AI infrastructure, data centers, defense, and other priority markets.
