Lumen Technologies has appointed Jeff Sharritts as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, effective February 4, 2026. Sharritts, a veteran with over 24 years at Cisco, will lead the company's commercial strategy, focusing on deepening customer relationships and driving profitable growth as Lumen positions itself as the trusted network for the AI era.

Sharritts brings extensive experience from Cisco, where he most recently led the global customer-facing organization responsible for over $50 billion in annual revenue. His background spans sales, partnerships, and customer experience, with a track record of transforming go-to-market strategies and building high-impact customer ecosystems. This expertise is directly applicable to Lumen's goal of scaling its commercial operations and strengthening its position in the networking and connectivity market.
In his new role, Sharritts will focus on enabling customers to connect and innovate securely in the AI era. "Lumen sits at the center of one of the biggest infrastructure shifts in decades," said Sharritts. The leadership change aims to translate Lumen's network scale and digital capabilities into clear growth outcomes for customers and long-term value for stakeholders, accelerating the company's momentum as a critical infrastructure provider.
