LogicMonitor, the artificial intelligence-first platform for Autonomous IT, has introduced a new operating model designed to help enterprises break free from the traditional alert loop. Unveiled at Elevate 2026—the company’s annual community conference—the architecture combines LogicMonitor Envision, Edwin AI, and digital experience insights from Catchpoint to connect user experience, infrastructure, and AI-led action into a single governed workflow.
LogicMonitor announced a new operating model for Autonomous IT at its Elevate 2026 conference, shifting enterprises from reactive alerts to automated remediation.
The architecture is built on LogicMonitor Envision, Edwin AI, and Catchpoint integration for comprehensive internet and user experience monitoring.
The platform introduces new capabilities across five pillars: Enterprise Data Foundation, Unified Context, AI for Governed Action, Experience, and Action, Trust and Governance.
A landmark customer win with a U.S. federal agency projects a 182% three-year ROI, over 170,000 annual productivity hours, and a 70% reduction in downtime impact.
The platform features LogicMonitor MCP for Edwin AI, offering compatible AI clients secure, read-only access to enterprise monitoring context.
Leadership emphasizes a progressive path to Autonomous IT, allowing organizations to scale automation safely while keeping humans in control of policies and approvals.
For years, monitoring and observability tools have focused primarily on helping IT teams see more of their infrastructure. However, visibility alone often results in alert fatigue rather than resolution. LogicMonitor's new approach is grounded in the principle that an alert is only useful when it leads to deeper understanding and actionable outcomes.
"Autonomous IT is not a switch customers flip overnight. It’s a progression from trusted visibility, to better decisions, to governed action," said Prabhu Nakkeeran, Chief Technology Officer at LogicMonitor. "Our AI-first platform gives teams the data and context they need to move forward at their own pace, while keeping people firmly in charge of policies, approvals, and operational risk."
By strengthening the enterprise data foundation with enhanced support for OpenTelemetry, broader application logs, and cost signals, LogicMonitor gives Edwin AI the comprehensive evidence required to reason across complex digital environments. This data is then tied directly to business services, dependencies, and user experiences to filter out operational noise.
As artificial intelligence moves deeper into enterprise workflows, balancing autonomy with strict security and governance is critical. Shannon Kalvar, IDC Senior Research Director for AIOps, noted that moving toward autonomous operations requires systems capable of gathering context and making bounded decisions at machine speed while humans establish guardrails and define desired outcomes.
Edwin AI acts as the operational front door for IT teams, delivering investigation, domain-specific expertise, and workflow execution directly into existing collaboration channels such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow, and command-line interfaces.
"AI is most valuable in IT operations when it helps teams understand what matters and take the next step with confidence," said Karthik Sj, Chief AI Officer at LogicMonitor. "Edwin AI combines investigation with specialized expertise for network, infrastructure and the IT workflows that keep the business moving. It brings that expertise into the tools teams already use while keeping people in control of what AI can see, recommend and do."
