  • Programs focus on building AI and cyber resilience while promoting responsible innovation across government, education, and rural ecosystems.
  • Initiatives build on prior discussions between Kyndryl leadership and India's Prime Minister on AI-driven government efficiency and large-scale skilling.
  • Kyndryl emphasizes inclusive talent development to create a future-ready workforce that drives sustainable digital progress in India.

Enhancing Public Sector AI and Cyber Readiness Kyndryl is partnering with the Karmayogi iGOT Platform to deliver specialized AI training for government employees. The curated content covers essential AI concepts, ethical and responsible application, and cyber safety measures. This effort equips civil servants to recognize practical AI use cases and bolster institutional resilience against digital threats, directly contributing to more efficient and secure public governance.

Launching AI Education in Government Schools To foster early AI literacy, Kyndryl is introducing foundational AI programs in select government schools, starting with a pilot in Varanasi and Ayodhya. The initiative prioritizes PM SHRI and Navodaya institutions, delivering age-appropriate learning to 50,000 students while providing professional development for 1,000 teachers in 100 schools over the next two years. This step aims to prepare younger generations for an AI-integrated future from the ground up.

Developing Youth as Community AI Leaders Kyndryl's youth-focused program trains graduate students to become AI change-makers in their local areas. Participants will learn to identify regional challenges, promote AI literacy, and implement AI-enabled solutions in key sectors such as rural governance, agriculture, and livelihood enhancement. Scaled nationally across multiple states, the initiative targets enabling 30,000 youth each year within three years, supporting the creation of sustainable, AI-ready rural communities.

Commitment to Inclusive Digital Transformation "Our mission is to support both India's digital growth and to help unlock progress at every level," said Lingraju Sawkar, President, Kyndryl India. "By strengthening the AI and cyber readiness of government officials, students and youth, we are helping build a confident, future-ready India that can lead with responsibility, resilience and innovation. Our programs are about empowering people everywhere to participate fully in the country's digital transformation." These efforts reinforce Kyndryl's role in national skilling priorities and build on high-level engagements focused on AI for public efficiency and underserved community empowerment.

Kyndryl continues to invest in talent development as a cornerstone of its India strategy, driving long-term impact through targeted, inclusive programs.
