Information Services Group (ISG) has initiated a comprehensive research study to evaluate service providers within the Snowflake ecosystem. The upcoming ISG Provider Lens® report, scheduled for release in June 2026, will assess partners that help enterprises modernize data estates and enable AI-driven transformation using the Snowflake data platform, offering crucial insights for vendor selection and strategy.
ISG launches a research study to evaluate service providers in the Snowflake ecosystem.
The resulting "Snowflake Ecosystem Partners" report will be published in June 2026.
The study will assess providers on modernization/AI enablement and managed data/optimization services.
Enterprises prioritize partners with automation maturity, FinOps discipline, and robust governance.
Snowflake's platform is critical for unifying data and enabling AI-driven innovation at scale.
The report will help enterprise buyers evaluate current and potential vendor relationships.
As Snowflake has become a foundational data platform for modern enterprises, the ecosystem of service partners around it has grown in importance. ISG's study aims to examine provider capabilities in helping organizations leverage Snowflake's cloud-native architecture to move beyond traditional data warehouses, unify data, and drive AI innovation. “Enterprises are prioritizing providers that offer automation maturity, FinOps discipline and robust governance,” said Aman Munglani, senior director and principal analyst at ISG.
The research will produce two key quadrants to represent the Snowflake services enterprises are buying. The first, Modernization and AI/ML Enablement Services, will evaluate providers that deliver end-to-end strategy and implementation support. These partners are assessed on their ability to guide data modernization and integrate AI and ML into business operations using Snowflake-native tools like Snowpark and Cortex AI. The second quadrant, Managed Data and Optimization Services, will assess providers offering ongoing management, monitoring, and optimization for Snowflake environments across cloud platforms.
The forthcoming report is designed as a strategic tool for both enterprise buyers and ISG's own advisors. Buyers will be able to use the detailed evaluation to assess their current vendor relationships and potential new engagements. ISG advisors will utilize the findings to provide informed, data-driven recommendations to the firm's buy-side clients, helping them navigate the complex partner landscape to achieve measurable improvements in data management.
ISG has distributed surveys to more than 100 identified Snowflake ecosystem partners for this study. The research will feature expanded customer experience (CX) data, measuring actual enterprise experiences with specific provider services. Geographically, the report will cover the global Snowflake ecosystem, examining products and services available to enterprises worldwide.
By launching this evaluation, ISG is responding to the critical need for clear, empirical analysis of the partners enabling successful Snowflake adoption. The study will provide a vital benchmark for enterprises seeking to modernize their data estates and harness AI efficiently and effectively through the Snowflake platform.
