ISG, a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, announced the launch of this targeted research to examine specialist providers delivering advanced analytics and AI solutions across the insurance value chain. These providers offer deep domain expertise, reusable intellectual property, and emerging technologies that are transforming key aspects of insurance operations.

Specialist analytics and AI services are reshaping product design, pricing accuracy, and demand forecasting through granular risk segmentation and dynamic models. They also support targeted distribution strategies and personalized customer experiences, helping insurers navigate increasingly complex risk profiles and heightened customer expectations.

In claims management and fraud analytics, next-generation AI models are enabling faster triage, more accurate severity prediction and proactive fraud detection. Specialist providers are helping insurers operationalize these capabilities, improving outcomes across traditional and digital channels.

“In claims management and fraud analytics, next-generation AI models are enabling faster triage, more accurate severity prediction and proactive fraud detection,” said Namratha Dharshan, chief business leader at ISG. “Specialist providers are helping insurers operationalize these capabilities, improving outcomes across traditional and digital channels.”

ISG has distributed surveys to around 20 specialist analytics and AI service providers. In collaboration with its global advisors, the research team will produce a single quadrant evaluation: Specialty Analytics and AI Services — Insurance. This assesses providers based on proven experience in actuarial modeling, underwriting automation, and claims and fraud detection, along with their ability to integrate analytics in complex carrier environments and deliver measurable business outcomes.

The global study will cover products and services available worldwide, with ISG analysts Manav Deep Sachdeva and Saravanan M S authoring the report. All 2026 ISG Provider Lens® evaluations incorporate expanded customer experience data drawn from ISG’s ongoing research into enterprise interactions with providers.

Enterprise buyers can leverage the forthcoming report to assess current vendor relationships, explore new partnerships, and identify suitable offerings, while ISG advisors will apply the insights to guide client recommendations.
