Hyland has announced the continued expansion of its AI-native Content Innovation Cloud across the Asia-Pacific region in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The move is aimed at helping regulated industries address growing concerns around data sovereignty while accelerating enterprise AI adoption and agentic automation initiatives.

As enterprises across the Asia-Pacific region increasingly prioritize governed AI infrastructure, the expansion brings Hyland’s Content Innovation Cloud to the AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region. The initiative is designed to support industries including healthcare, financial services, insurance, education, and government with secure, AI-ready content management and lower-latency digital operations.

Hyland and AWS Expand AI Infrastructure Across APAC

The expansion builds on Hyland’s strategic collaboration agreement with AWS and reflects increasing enterprise demand for regionally hosted AI infrastructure capable of meeting strict governance and compliance requirements.

Organizations across industries are accelerating AI adoption while navigating evolving data sovereignty regulations, particularly in sectors handling sensitive customer, financial, and healthcare information. By extending the Content Innovation Cloud into Australia, Hyland aims to provide enterprises with AI-native content services deployed closer to their operational environments.

"With demand for AI-driven enterprise solutions accelerating globally, organizations across the Asia-Pacific region want to take advantage of AI but are mindful of data sovereignty and deploying advanced content and AI capabilities within their own regional infrastructure," said Tim McIntire, chief technology officer at Hyland.

"By extending the Content Innovation Cloud into Australia, Hyland is removing that barrier, empowering our customers to move forward with confidence as they modernize core operations and adopt the agentic enterprise."

Advancing the Content-Powered Agentic Enterprise

Hyland is positioning itself as a key player in the emerging content-powered agentic enterprise market, where AI agents are integrated into enterprise workflows, content systems, and business operations.

The company’s latest platform innovations include:

Enterprise Context Engine

Designed to connect governed enterprise content with AI systems, enabling organizations to provide contextual intelligence to AI-driven workflows and automation.

Agent Lifecycle Management

A framework that helps enterprises deploy, manage, monitor, and optimize AI agents operating across business environments.

Enterprise Agent Mesh

A multi-agent orchestration layer built to support scalable AI collaboration and enterprise-wide automation initiatives.

Headless Content Innovation Cloud Capabilities

Flexible architecture designed to integrate enterprise content services into existing applications, workflows, and digital ecosystems.

These capabilities are intended to help enterprises scale AI adoption beyond isolated pilots and connect AI systems directly to operational business processes.

Regional Expansion Supports Compliance and Innovation

By hosting services within the AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region, Hyland and AWS aim to deliver improved application performance, lower latency, and stronger compliance support for customers operating across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader APAC region.

"This expansion of Hyland's partnership with AWS significantly strengthens the foundation for delivering AI-native innovation across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region," said Mark Grimes, managing director at Blumark.

"With local access to the Content Innovation Cloud, organizations can realize the true benefits of the content-powered agentic enterprise, and we look forward to working with Hyland to help our customers realize their full potential."

AWS also highlighted the growing role of enterprise AI integration and intelligent automation in shaping the next phase of digital transformation.

"The next phase of enterprise AI will be defined by how effectively organizations can connect intelligence to real business processes," said Carol Potts, General Manager, ISV, at AWS.

"By expanding our partnership with Hyland in Australia, New Zealand and across the Asia-Pacific region, we are helping customers unlock the full value of their content-powered agentic automation and build a trusted foundation for AI innovation on AWS."

As enterprises continue investing in AI modernization strategies, regional infrastructure availability and governed AI ecosystems are becoming critical factors in large-scale deployment decisions. Hyland’s latest expansion reinforces the company’s focus on enabling secure, compliant, and scalable AI-driven enterprise transformation across the Asia-Pacific market.
