At HUAWEI CONNECT 2025's Data Center Innovation Summit, themed "Leading AI DC Innovation for an Intelligent Future," Huawei unveiled Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0, a comprehensive upgrade to its 2018 AI Fabric. This solution empowers enterprises to build always-on data center networks with full computing power, accelerating digital-intelligent transformation amid rapid AI advancements and evolving cloud architectures.

Addressing AI-Driven Network Challenges

Arthur Wang, President of Data Center Network Domain, Huawei Data Communication Product Line, highlighted in his keynote that accelerating AI iterations and cloud architectures are pushing data center networks to a pivotal inflection point. Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 addresses these demands through a robust three-layer architecture integrating the AI network agent NetMaster, StarryWing Digital Map for three-level automation, Xinghuan training and Xingzhi inference scheduling engines, and the Rock-Solid Architecture, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced performance.

AI Brain: Streamlining Orchestration and Automation

The AI Brain layer leverages StarryWing Digital Map and NetMaster to facilitate drag-and-drop service orchestration, automated deployment, and integrated application-network operations and maintenance (O&M). It supports end-to-end automation across heterogeneous networks and security domains, dramatically improving O&M efficiency and reducing manual interventions in complex data center environments.

AI Connectivity: Enhancing Throughput and Reliability

AI Connectivity incorporates network scale load balancing (NSLB) algorithms to achieve 95% network throughput, enhancing training and inference efficiency by more than 10%. The iReliable three-level reliability technology, grounded in the Rock-Solid Architecture, provides 10 times greater reliability, ensuring uninterrupted operations critical for AI workloads and enterprise scalability.

AI Network Elements: Precision and Security

AI Network Elements include CloudEngine series general-purpose computing switches, XH series intelligent computing switches, and StarryLink optical modules. These components offer precise traffic awareness, visualization of packet loss and latency, intrinsic security, and group-based isolation, fortifying network security while optimizing data flow in high-density AI data centers.

Huawei's booth at the summit featured live demos and simulations of Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0's architecture, illustrating the synergy of "AI for Fabric & Fabric for AI." Highlights included the complete 800GE portfolio, such as the industry's highest-density 128×800GE fixed switch XH9330, 64×800GE fixed switch XH9320, 800GE StarryLink optical modules, Xinghe liquid-cooled cabinet, and the first all-port liquid-cooled 128×400GE fixed switch XH9230-LC. Huawei commits to ongoing collaboration with partners and customers to advance data center networking innovations, driving intelligent upgrades and global industry value.
