The widespread adoption of AI in enterprise and government is often hindered by fragmented strategies, complex deployments, and data security concerns. To address this, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced a significant expansion of its NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio. The new offerings are designed to make AI easier to deploy and scale through turnkey AI factory solutions, unified data strategies, and refreshed server platforms featuring the latest NVIDIA infrastructure.
HPE has expanded its NVIDIA AI Computing portfolio with secure, turnkey AI factory solutions.
The second generation of HPE Private Cloud AI is now available in a small form factor.
New offerings include an Agentic Smart City Solution and AI factory deployments for governments.
The portfolio addresses data siloes with a unified data layer featuring agentic AI governance.
New servers support the latest NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, BlueField-4 DPUs, and ConnectX-9 SuperNICs.
Solutions are designed for regulated industries with air-gapped management and sovereign AI capabilities.
This expansion directly targets the critical challenges organizations face. It offers full-stack, private AI factories that simplify complex deployments and help enterprises and governments scale quickly while maintaining compliance and control over sensitive data. The solutions range from developer editions to large-scale sovereign AI clouds.
Fidelma Russo, executive vice president and general manager of Hybrid Cloud and CTO at HPE, stated, “To accelerate widespread AI adoption in enterprises, technology must directly address the core challenges that organizations face around complex deployments and fragmented, highly sensitive data. Together with NVIDIA, we offer a different approach with full-stack, private AI factories that simplify operations.”
Justin Boitano, vice president of Enterprise Software at NVIDIA, added, “AI factories are the new infrastructure of the intelligence era. NVIDIA and HPE are building these full-stack systems — integrating NVIDIA Blackwell, networking software and AI Data Platform reference designs — to power agentic AI, unlock automation and accelerate digital transformation for every industry.”
The announcement covers several key areas. The second generation of HPE Private Cloud AI now features new ProLiant servers and NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, delivering significantly better price-to-performance. It also supports the new NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design for high-assurance organizations.
New data capabilities include a unified data layer with agentic AI-powered governance using Model Context Protocol (MCP) to securely federate data. The HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 now supports air-gapped management and GPU-accelerated access via NVIDIA S3oRDMA.
A notable launch is the HPE Agentic Smart City Solution, with the Town of Vail as a lighthouse customer, designed to help cities scale from isolated AI pilots to citywide smart infrastructure. The portfolio is rounded out by comprehensive infrastructure offerings, from the powerful NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 by HPE to servers supporting the upcoming NVIDIA Rubin platform, providing a clear path for scalable AI adoption from the edge to the core data center.
