A major obstacle in enterprise AI adoption is gaining efficient access to data locked in legacy silos across different locations and systems. Hammerspace has unveiled its AI Data Platform solution, designed to streamline data access for agentic AI applications without requiring costly infrastructure overhauls. Aligned with the NVIDIA AI Data Platform (AIDP) reference design, the solution unifies unstructured enterprise data, transforming it into AI-ready intelligence for accelerated computing.

Quick Intel

  • Hammerspace launches an AI Data Platform to unify enterprise data for agentic AI.

  • The solution aligns with the NVIDIA AI Data Platform (AIDP) reference design.

  • It creates a single global namespace across on-premises and cloud storage silos.

  • The platform integrates NVIDIA RTX PRO6000 GPUs, Spectrum-X Ethernet, and AI Enterprise software.

  • It features a built-in vector database and Model Context Protocol (MCP) services.

  • The solution is available through channel partners, starting small and scaling linearly.

Simplifying the Data Estate Without New Silos

Traditional AI infrastructure often requires duplicating massive datasets into new, specialized storage silos, creating further fragmentation. The Hammerspace Data Platform eliminates this by providing a single global namespace that spans existing on-premises and cloud resources. Its automated data objectives intelligently tier and place data, ensuring AI workloads have immediate access without manual movement.

Accelerating Data for the Agentic Era

The platform is tightly integrated with the NVIDIA ecosystem to deliver high performance. It leverages NVIDIA RTX PRO6000 Blackwell GPUs for computation, NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet for networking, and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, including NIM and NeMo Retriever. At its core, Hammerspace Tier 0 unifies NVMe inside GPU nodes to accelerate processing, while its integrated Milvus vector database and MCP services transform unstructured data into searchable embeddings for AI agents.

Executive Perspectives on Practical AI Data

Jeff Echols, vice president for strategic partnerships at Hammerspace, stated, “The Hammerspace Data Platform eliminates the chaos of legacy enterprise data silos, allowing organizations to instantly make data available to AI agents anywhere, while maintaining full control and governance.”

Anne Hecht, senior director of Enterprise Platforms at NVIDIA, added, “Built on the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design, the Hammerspace Data Platform connects AI agents to the data they depend on, driving faster reasoning to accelerate innovation and insight.”

The platform is delivered as a validated, channel-first solution, allowing customers to start with a small, project-based configuration and scale linearly as their AI initiatives grow. This approach provides a practical and scalable path for enterprises to operationalize their existing data, turning legacy information into fuel for AI-driven innovation and competitive advantage without a disruptive "rip-and-replace" of their current storage infrastructure.

About Hammerspace
