GitLab has announced the appointment of Siva Padisetty as its new Chief Technology Officer, effective January 15, 2026. Padisetty's career is marked by significant platform modernization efforts. At New Relic, he led the transformation of the company's monolithic architecture into modern, modular cloud services while scaling the business to over $1 billion in revenue. Prior to that, he spent over eight years at AWS, most recently as General Manager of Cloud Management, and 18 years at Microsoft. This background in operating and transforming large-scale services aligns with GitLab's mission to serve millions of users and Fortune 100 companies.
