The strategic partnership between global technology provider FPT and E.ON Optimum, the digital solutions arm of E.ON UK, is advancing to a new phase focused on AI-driven innovation. The two companies have signed a new agreement to extend their collaboration, reaffirming a shared commitment to leveraging technology for accelerating sustainability and digital transformation in the energy sector.

Under the extended agreement, FPT will continue to support the development and operation of E.ON Optimum's cloud-based energy management platform. A key focus of this next phase is the application of FPT's proprietary AI technology to enhance the platform's capabilities, specifically in forecasting energy consumption and pricing. This will provide business users with more timely and flexible data analysis to support faster, data-driven decisions on achieving net-zero energy usage.
This new chapter builds on a partnership established in 2022. Over the past three years, FPT has been instrumental in the end-to-end development and operation of the Optimum platform, handling everything from web application development and architecture design to implementing AI/ML-based consumption forecasting models.
