Elastic announces the general availability of Agent Builder, empowering developers to rapidly create secure, context-driven AI agents grounded in enterprise data using Elasticsearch for superior relevance and scalability.
Elastic, the Search AI Company, has made Agent Builder generally available, providing a comprehensive toolkit for developers to build secure and reliable AI agents that deliver context-driven answers and actions. Built natively on Elasticsearch, Agent Builder addresses the critical need for accurate context in AI agents by unifying data preparation, ingestion, retrieval with advanced ranking, built-in and custom tools, conversational interfaces, and full agent observability in a single scalable platform.
Developers can quickly prototype and deploy agents that interact directly with enterprise data or create tailored, context-aware solutions in minutes, significantly reducing complexity in agent development.

Elastic introduces Elastic Workflows in technical preview, extending Agent Builder by enabling agents to execute reliable, rules-based actions across internal and external systems. Unlike frameworks that rely solely on LLMs for planning and orchestration, Workflows provides deterministic automation for tasks requiring precision, such as data gathering, transformation, and system interactions.
This combination allows agents to blend intelligent reasoning with predictable execution, bridging the gap between AI innovation and enterprise-grade reliability.

Agent Builder is now available in Elastic Cloud Serverless and included with the Enterprise Tier for Elastic Cloud Hosted and self-managed Elastic Stack deployments for existing customers. Elastic Workflows is accessible in technical preview.
Agents built with Agent Builder are model-agnostic and integrate seamlessly with managed model-as-a-service offerings, including those from major cloud hyperscalers.
