The updated Dell AI Data Platform addresses the challenges of managing massive, unstructured enterprise data for generative AI. By integrating continuous indexing and a vector retrieval engine powered by Elastic’s Elasticsearch, it enables fast, precise semantic search. “The key to unlocking AI’s full potential lies in breaking down silos and simplifying access to enterprise data,” said Arthur Lewis, president, Infrastructure Solutions Group, Dell Technologies. These updates streamline data preparation, unify access across silos, and deliver enterprise-grade performance.
The platform’s new unstructured data engine, powered by Elastic, offers advanced vector search, semantic retrieval, and hybrid keyword search capabilities. “With Elasticsearch vector database at the heart of the Dell AI Data Platform's unstructured data engine, Elastic will bring vector search and hybrid retrieval to a turnkey architecture,” said Ken Exner, Chief Product Officer at Elastic. Combined with NVIDIA’s AI Data Platform reference design, including RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, it provides a validated, GPU-accelerated solution for generative AI systems.
The Dell PowerEdge R7725 server, the first 2U platform to integrate NVIDIA’s AI Data Platform, leverages NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 GPUs to deliver up to six times the token throughput for LLM inference and double the engineering simulation performance. “With NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 GPUs in new 2U Dell PowerEdge servers, organizations now have a power-efficient, accelerated computing platform,” said Justin Boitano, vice president of enterprise AI at NVIDIA. This turnkey solution supports complex AI workloads, from visual computing to agentic inference.
At SIGGRAPH 2025 (August 10-14, Vancouver), Dell is demonstrating how the platform, alongside NVIDIA Omniverse, accelerates media production pipelines and intelligent asset management. The event also features the Dell Pro Max PC portfolio, including the upcoming Pro Max with GB10, a compact AI developer workstation, highlighting practical applications for enterprise AI.
This collaboration with NVIDIA and Elastic positions the Dell AI Data Platform as a leader in enabling scalable, real-time AI solutions, transforming how enterprises harness data for innovation.
