DDN, the global leader in AI and data intelligence solutions, today announced the launch of DDN Infinia 2.4 at the RAISE Summit in Paris, extending the industry's leading platform for production AI, large-scale inference, and sovereign AI infrastructure. As AI moves from training models to operating intelligent systems in production, enterprises face a new challenge: maximizing the economic return of AI infrastructure investments. The bottleneck is no longer acquiring GPUs—it is keeping those GPUs productive, reducing cost-per-token, accelerating inference, and securely governing data across multi-tenant AI environments.

Quick Intel

  • DDN launches Infinia 2.4 at RAISE Summit for production AI and sovereign AI.

  • New release delivers enterprise-grade multi-tenancy, identity management, and POSIX capabilities.

  • Infinia architecture optimizes inference economics with ultra-low-latency data access.

  • POSIX support reaches Limited Availability on RHEL and Ubuntu.

  • Maintains full S3 compatibility for existing applications.

  • Powers xAI, Salesforce, Mistral, SK Telecom, Yotta, and global research institutions.

Accelerating Inference Economics and Token Efficiency

As enterprises increasingly deploy agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), copilots, and autonomous AI systems, inference has emerged as the dominant operational cost. Infinia's architecture is designed to optimize the economics of production inference through ultra-low-latency data access, high-performance object storage, and intelligent data services that help keep accelerators fully utilized. Capabilities include high-performance distributed KV Cache acceleration, sub-millisecond access to AI datasets, massive concurrency for multi-tenant inference, optimized support for RAG and agentic AI, and improved GPU utilization.

Enterprise Foundation for AI

Infinia 2.4 introduces foundational capabilities for AI Cloud Partner and AI Operator Readiness including advanced multi-tenancy, identity integration and management, quota enforcement and governance controls, and enhanced operational isolation for shared AI environments. These capabilities allow organizations to securely support multiple teams, customers, business units, or sovereign AI workloads from a single platform.

Leadership Perspective

Alex Bouzari, CEO and Co-Founder at DDN, stated: "The economics of AI are rapidly becoming more important than the models themselves. The industry has entered an era where success is measured by cost-per-token, inference efficiency, GPU utilization, and business outcomes—not simply the number of GPUs deployed. Organizations need infrastructure that transforms expensive AI investments into productive AI factories."

POSIX Support and S3 Compatibility

Infinia 2.4 delivers the first Limited Availability milestone for POSIX support, including POSIX client qualification on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu, defined throughput commitments, and documented deployment guidance. The release maintains full compatibility with established S3 environments and SDKs, ensuring organizations can adopt Infinia without disruption to existing applications.

Keynotes at RAISE

At RAISE, DDN executives will deliver keynotes including Alex Bouzari on "The AI Gold Rush: Models Are Shovels, Data Is the Gold," exploring why inference economics, token efficiency, and data intelligence are becoming defining metrics of enterprise AI success. Mohsen Moazami will speak on "Sovereign Stacks: Building Trusted AI on National Terms," examining sovereign AI strategies and the importance of trusted infrastructure.
