DDN, the global leader in AI and data intelligence solutions, today announced the appointment of Guido Torrini as Chief Financial Operating Officer. In this role, Torrini will oversee finance and operations, including capital strategy, long-range planning, global supply chain, performance management, and enterprise systems. The appointment comes at a pivotal time as enterprises, cloud providers, and research institutions rapidly scale AI, driving unprecedented demand for high-performance AI infrastructure and data platforms capable of supporting large-scale training and inference workloads.

“DDN has built the trusted data foundation powering the most advanced AI initiatives in the world,” said Alex Bouzari, CEO and Co-founder of DDN. “We are scaling quickly and building for the future. Guido brings the financial leadership and operational rigor to strengthen our foundation and prepare DDN for our next phase of global growth.”

Torrini brings more than 25 years of experience leading finance and operations at global technology companies. His career includes early roles at Cisco and Dell during the expansion of networking and infrastructure, senior finance leadership at Groupon and Gympass supporting high-growth consumer platforms, and guiding enterprise software expansion at Celonis. Most recently, as CFO of OneTrust, he drove operational and business transformation at one of the fastest-growing companies in privacy, security, and data governance. Torrini has consistently partnered with founders and executive teams to scale high-growth organizations into durable global enterprises while strengthening financial discipline and long-term value creation.

“DDN is delivering the critical data intelligence infrastructure organizations need to deploy AI at scale—across enterprises, governments, and the world’s most demanding AI factories,” said Torrini. “I’m excited to join at a moment when AI is reshaping the technology landscape and redefining the global economic order—and when DDN is uniquely positioned to help lead what comes next.”

With DDN powering many of the world’s most demanding AI and high-performance computing environments, Torrini’s leadership will support the company’s operational scaling to meet surging global demand for exabyte-scale data intelligence that keeps GPUs efficient and productive while delivering strong ROI on AI investments.
