Cyera, the leading AI Security Platform, has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment of Brandon Sweeney as President. This move, along with additional senior appointments and promotions, strengthens operational rigor and global go-to-market capabilities as the company—now valued at $9 billion following its recent Series F funding—prepares for its next phase of accelerated growth and enterprise-scale AI security adoption.
“Cyera has reached a phase where leadership depth and operational rigor are as important as continued innovation,” said Yotam Segev, Co-founder and CEO of Cyera.
As President, Sweeney will lead the evolution of Cyera’s global go-to-market organization, enhancing customer success programs and ensuring tight alignment between product, sales, and partner ecosystems to meet the needs of large-scale enterprise customers. With over 30 years of experience scaling technology companies, Sweeney most recently served as President and COO at dbt Labs, guiding the company through rapid expansion and a multi-billion-dollar merger agreement. Prior to that, he was Chief Revenue Officer at HashiCorp during its IPO and spent 16 years at VMware in various senior leadership roles as the company grew its global presence.
“I’ve spent my career helping technology companies navigate moments of rapid growth, and I’ve long admired teams that combine innovation with operational excellence,” added Sweeney. “Cyera is redefining data and AI security, and I’m thrilled to join the team and help scale the business in a way that supports customers, partners, and employees for the long term.”
Cyera has also strengthened its executive team to support sustained scale and long-term readiness:
“We’re building Cyera with a long-term view,” added Segev. “Investing in experienced leadership across the company ensures we’re prepared for the many chapters ahead.”
