Sabharwal’s primary mandate is to accelerate the realization of Cognite's $100 billion customer value target. He will be responsible for commercializing new Industrial AI products, entering adjacent markets, and fostering co-innovation with key technology partners. A key immediate focus will be on helping industrial clients extract more value from their current investments by extending the use of the Cognite AI and Data Platform across their enterprises to break down persistent data silos. The open nature of Cognite's platform is designed to overcome barriers to adopting advanced AI and cloud technologies, enabling intelligent agents to leverage trusted, AI-ready operational data.
Sabharwal's extensive background in product, engineering, sales, and customer success is seen as a critical asset for Cognite's scaling trajectory. CEO Girish Rishi highlighted this, stating, “Amish’s proven ability to scale businesses in new markets and accelerate innovation with key technology partners to deliver transformative business outcomes brings exactly the operational velocity we need.” Sabharwal was previously part of the executive team at Trackunit, where he led go-to-market teams in scaling the business beyond $200 million. He also held leadership roles at AVEVA during its transition and exit to Schneider Electric.
