Cognite, a global leader in industrial AI, announced on August 25, 2025, the incorporation of a new entity in Abu Dhabi to meet the rising demand for industrial digitalization in the UAE’s energy and manufacturing sectors. Strategic Expansion

The Abu Dhabi entity will serve as a hub for Cognite’s industrial AI solutions, supporting major energy and manufacturing companies. “Cognite’s AI solutions are a game-changer for industry,” said Bernard Looney, board member at Abu Dhabi-based XRG. “They drive improved safety, emissions, and performance.” The move aligns with the UAE’s push to become a global AI leader, as evidenced by initiatives like the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.
