The collaboration builds on a successful 2025 pilot involving six Cognita schools: Colegio Olinca (Mexico City), International School of Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC), ISHCMC American Academy (AAVN), The Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai, Southbank International School (London), and The British School of Barcelona. The pilot demonstrated significant improvements in student outcomes across mathematics, languages, and college essay feedback. “I am thrilled that the pilot has been such a success,” said Dr. Simon Camby, Cognita’s Group Chief Education Officer. “We chose to work with Flint because of its flexibility and ability to align with how our schools teach and operate.”
Flint’s platform empowers teachers to generate custom, interactive activities, deliver differentiated learning materials, and provide instant formative feedback. Students can access additional practice problems, brainstorm ideas, and develop AI literacy with built-in guardrails to ensure ethical use. The platform integrates with major learning management systems (LMS) like Canvas and Google Classroom, supports rostering via systems like PowerSchool, and processes diverse inputs, including PDFs, YouTube transcripts, and images, to create tailored content. Flint also flags inappropriate messages for administrator review, ensuring safety.
Cognita’s approach emphasizes responsible AI integration, enhancing rather than replacing teachers. “We’ve been amazed by their commitment to personalizing learning for students, as well as by the focus from Cognita’s leadership on embracing AI in a way that enhances, not replaces, the teacher’s role,” said Sohan Choudhury, CEO of Flint. Onboarding includes custom professional learning for faculty, AI literacy programs for students, and family engagement resources to ensure transparency and alignment with community values.
Cognita, which operates schools teaching 13 curricula across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, has a history of adopting AI tools, such as CENTURY in 42 schools since 2021. The Flint partnership expands this commitment, leveraging Cognita’s global network to deliver personalized learning at scale. The initiative aligns with Cognita’s holistic education model, fostering academic excellence and student well-being in a digital world.
