CemAI has appointed Andrew Crose as Chief Executive Officer, effective 12 October 2026, to lead the company's next phase of growth and accelerate the development and commercialization of its AI-powered digital manufacturing solutions for cement producers worldwide. The company is accelerating its trajectory to become a preferred supplier of AI-powered digital manufacturing solutions for the global cement industry.
CemAI's ambition is to become the reference data platform for cement manufacturing, enabling producers to make faster, data-driven decisions, optimize operations and unlock new levels of efficiency and reliability. Andrew will lead CemAI's strategy and growth plan, with a focus on footprint expansion, strategic partnerships, product development and customer success.
Since its launch in 2022, CemAI has combined deep cement manufacturing expertise with advanced AI solutions to help plants improve performance through real-time process optimization and predictive maintenance. Building on this unique foundation, the company will be expanding its portfolio of digital services with additional manufacturing solutions for the global cement industry.
Andrew brings extensive international experience in scaling industrial technology businesses and commercializing advanced technologies, including AI, autonomy and the Internet of Things. Most recently, he served as Head of Strategic Markets at APTIV. His previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer at Xerotech, Vice President and General Manager of the Autonomous Mining Division at Hexagon, and Managing Director for EMEA and Growth Strategy at Hexagon.
Andrew holds an MBA from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in AI and Big Data Analysis from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management Information Systems from Southern Illinois University.
