Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence and a key enabler of Enterprise AI, has appointed Ewan Henderson as General Manager for North America. Henderson will spearhead the region's go-to-market strategy and operations, supporting Fortune 500 companies in realizing measurable ROI from their AI investments by connecting AI capabilities to real-world business processes.
Celonis has named Ewan Henderson as General Manager for North America, tasking him with driving the company's regional strategy amid surging enterprise demand for AI that delivers concrete results. Henderson's extensive background in scaling enterprise software businesses positions him to guide Fortune 500 organizations in bridging the gap between AI potential and operational impact.
"Every enterprise is trying to figure out how to make AI actually work for their business," said Henderson. "The challenge isn't the technology, it's connecting AI to real operations and driving real outcomes."
Alex Rinke, Co-CEO and Co-Founder at Celonis, highlighted the strategic fit: "Only 11% of companies are seeing measurable benefits from their AI investments today. That's not an adoption problem, it's a context problem. Ewan has spent his career building and scaling enterprise software businesses that deliver real outcomes. He is the right leader to help customers turn AI potential into business value."
Henderson joins Celonis with more than two decades of leadership experience in the enterprise software sector. Most recently, he spent 13 years at Informatica, where he led the enterprise business unit and was instrumental in the company's successful cloud transition and sustained growth following its IPO. Prior to that, he held key roles at Oracle for seven years. His expertise in driving large-scale transformations aligns closely with Celonis's mission to help enterprises operationalize AI effectively.
Henderson reiterated his focus: "Every enterprise is trying to figure out how to make AI actually work for their business. The challenge isn't the technology, it's connecting AI to real operations and driving real outcomes. That's exactly what Celonis does with Process Intelligence. I'm excited to work with our customers across North America to help them achieve tangible ROI from their AI investments."
Henderson succeeds Rupal Karia in the North America role. Karia will maintain leadership of the region's go-to-market efforts through April 30 before assuming responsibility for GTM across the UK and Ireland, Benelux, Nordics, Middle East, and Africa beginning May 1. This structured handover ensures continuity while expanding Celonis's leadership footprint in key international markets.
The Celonis Process Intelligence Platform stands at the core of this strategy. By extracting and integrating data from diverse systems, applications, and devices with rich business context, the platform constructs a living digital twin of an organization's operations. This foundation enables advanced analysis, process redesign, and AI-orchestrated execution, allowing companies to continuously optimize workflows and unlock significant value. As enterprises grapple with AI implementation challenges, Celonis's approach provides the essential operational context needed to convert AI investments into measurable business performance improvements.
The appointment of Ewan Henderson reinforces Celonis's commitment to helping North American enterprises overcome AI context barriers and achieve sustainable, outcome-driven transformation through Process Intelligence.
