CData Software, the data layer for AI, has announced three senior executive appointments as the company accelerates its position in the enterprise AI market. Raviv Levi joins as Chief Product and Technology Officer, Amit Naik as Vice President of AI Architecture, and Craig Sanchez as Senior Vice President of Embedded Sales. The additions come as organizations across industries rethink how enterprise data is accessed, governed, and acted on, whether through conversational AI or by autonomous agents operating across complex enterprise systems.

Leadership Expansion Driven by Enterprise AI Demand

CData's latest executive appointments reflect the growing complexity of enterprise AI deployments, where live, governed, and context-aware access to data has emerged as a critical bottleneck. As conversational AI tools become standard for querying enterprise data and autonomous agents begin taking action across systems, the infrastructure layer connecting AI to that data requires dedicated leadership and specialized expertise.

"For years, enterprises focused on moving data for analytics," said Amit Sharma, Founder and CEO of CData. "AI changes the equation. People are already using conversational AI to ask questions of their enterprise data, and autonomous agents are starting to take action on it. Both need live, governed, context-aware access to data wherever it lives. Raviv's experience building and scaling enterprise technology platforms makes him the right leader to drive the next phase of growth at CData. We're also excited to welcome Amit and Craig to the leadership team as we expand our AI platform and embedded partnerships to meet growing enterprise demand."

Raviv Levi Joins as Chief Product and Technology Officer

Raviv Levi brings to CData a track record of leading enterprise-scale product and technology platforms. He joins from Sift, where he served as Chief Product and Technology Officer, and previously held senior roles at Cisco, including Vice President of Security Strategy and Innovation within Cisco's Security Business Group. His background spans product, cloud security, and platform initiatives with a focus on enterprise infrastructure and AI-driven technologies.

"The world has changed," said Levi. "In enterprise AI, the model layer is moving fast and orchestration is moving fast, but responsible access to data, with live connectivity, controls, and context, is quickly becoming the bottleneck for enterprises. That's where CData already has a strong foundation, and that opportunity is exactly why I joined."

Levi's appointment positions CData to advance its platform strategy at a moment when the data access layer is increasingly central to the reliability and safety of enterprise AI deployments.

Amit Naik to Lead AI Architecture Strategy

As Vice President of AI Architecture, Amit Naik will lead the design and evolution of CData's AI architecture, working across product and engineering to ensure the platform meets the technical demands of enterprise AI at scale. He joins from Calix and brings prior senior leadership experience in AI and ML solutions and infrastructure from PayPal, Financial Engines, and Oracle.

"The AI architecture challenge for enterprises is clear: people need to ask questions of their data through conversational AI, and agents need to act on that data across dozens of systems, all in real time and with governance at every layer," said Naik. "I'm here to work with our customers and product teams to establish CData as the substrate that makes agentic AI safe, grounded, and operational at enterprise scale."

Naik's mandate reflects the technical depth required to serve enterprises managing fragmented, multi-system data environments where governance and real-time access must operate simultaneously across every AI interaction.

Craig Sanchez to Scale Embedded Sales and Partner Integrations

Craig Sanchez joins CData as Senior Vice President of Embedded Sales, with responsibility for helping software vendors and platform providers integrate enterprise-grade connectivity and AI data access directly into their products. He brings senior sales and business development experience from Vectara, Elastic, and Cloudera.

"Every software company building AI capabilities needs a data layer that can connect to enterprise systems and let agents act on that data with proper governance," said Sanchez. "That's the embedded opportunity in front of CData right now, and it's massive. I'm here to help scale the partnerships that get our connectivity into every AI-powered application in the market."

The embedded sales function targets a significant and fast-growing segment of the market as software vendors across categories race to add AI capabilities to their products and require reliable, governed data connectivity to underpin those features.

CData's Platform and Enterprise Footprint

CData provides live access and data replication across more than 350 enterprise data sources, spanning SaaS applications, cloud platforms, and on-premises systems. Its platform delivers connectivity, semantic context, and governance controls through a unified layer, enabling both conversational AI interactions and autonomous agent operations without complex pipeline infrastructure.

CData's Connect AI platform is the industry's first fully managed Model Context Protocol (MCP) platform and integrates with Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and Agent 365. The company's customer base includes global organizations such as Adobe, Office Depot, GSK, UiPath, and Palantir, and its AI workloads power deployments for Anthropic, Databricks, Microsoft, Google, and more than 10,000 customers worldwide.

With three senior appointments spanning product, technology, AI architecture, and embedded sales, CData is building the leadership capacity to match the scale of the enterprise AI opportunity in front of it. As data access and governance emerge as the defining constraints on AI reliability and adoption, the company's focus on live, context-aware connectivity across fragmented enterprise environments positions it at the center of a challenge that every large organization is actively working to solve.
