Blackfoot Communications selects Aria Billing Cloud for its ServiceNow transformation.
The billing platform will integrate natively with the ServiceNow AI Platform.
Aria will support complex product bundling and pricing for the regional CSP.
The implementation will be carried out by global systems integrator Prodapt.
Blackfoot will also use Aria Data Connect and Aria RevRec modules.
The move aims to modernize and future-proof the company's BSS technology stack.
Following a period of rapid growth, Blackfoot Communications initiated a strategic modernization program to replace multiple legacy systems. By consolidating onto the ServiceNow AI Platform, the company sought a billing solution that could operate seamlessly within that unified environment. Aria Billing Cloud was chosen for its native integration capabilities via Aria Billing Studio, ensuring billing becomes an integrated component rather than a siloed system.
As a regional CSP offering services from fiber internet to managed IT, Blackfoot requires a billing system capable of handling sophisticated scenarios. Aria's platform is designed to support complex product bundling and simplify intricate pricing structures out-of-the-box. This will allow Blackfoot to maintain agility in packaging and pricing its services while streamlining back-office operations as part of its larger technology consolidation.
Beyond core billing, Blackfoot will deploy additional Aria modules to extend functionality. Aria Data Connect will feed real-time billing data into downstream analytics and business intelligence tools, providing greater financial insight. Aria RevRec will be used to automate and streamline revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 accounting standards and reducing manual effort.
"Blackfoot is yet another example of a CSP that recognizes the need to modernize their stack," said Tom Dibble, President & CEO of Aria Systems. The selection underscores a trend among communications providers seeking to embed agile, AI-powered billing within a broader, unified digital business platform to enhance customer-centricity and operational efficiency.
