Atlassian Corporation has appointed Anil Sabharwal, Vice President of Product at Google, to its Board of Directors effective February 1, 2026. Sabharwal brings 17 years of senior leadership experience at Google, where he founded and scaled transformative products including Google Photos, Google Drive, Chrome, and ChromeOS.
Anil Sabharwal’s extensive track record in creating widely adopted consumer and enterprise products positions him to provide strategic guidance as Atlassian continues to evolve its AI-powered system of work. His experience scaling products that integrate AI to become essential tools reflects Atlassian’s mission to unleash team potential through intelligent collaboration solutions.

Sabharwal holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science (Honours) from the University of Waterloo and resides in Sydney, Australia, with his family.
