Ant Group has launched a groundbreaking artificial intelligence product named LingGuang, establishing it as China's first multimodal AI assistant that interacts with users through code-driven outputs. This next-generation assistant moves beyond text to deliver precise, structured responses through diverse formats like 3D models, audio clips, interactive maps, and instantly generated applications.
Ant Group launches LingGuang, China's first multimodal AI assistant with code-driven outputs.
It generates responses in 3D models, animations, charts, and instant applications.
A key feature, "Flash App," lets users create functional apps using natural language in under 30 seconds.
The "Fast Research" feature provides dynamic, multimodal content for complex topics.
The "AGI Camera" offers real-time scene understanding and on-the-fly media editing.
LingGuang is available for download on iOS and Android app stores.
LingGuang is designed to make complex knowledge more intuitive. It is built around three core features that leverage its ability to understand and produce language, images, voice, and data. The "Fast Research" feature responds to user queries with dynamic content, using 3D digital modeling to explore subjects and generative illustrations to turn abstract concepts into intuitive visuals. The "AGI Camera" provides real-time understanding of scenes captured by a user's phone, enabling contextual insights and instant media editing.
The most distinctive capability is "Flash App," which leverages LingGuang's native AI coding. This feature allows non-technical users to create personalized, interactive applications using simple natural language prompts. Whether for fitness tracking, trip planning, or financial management, LingGuang can build and run a custom flash app directly within the conversation in as little as 30 seconds, effectively acting as a personal AI developer for every user.
The technology behind LingGuang automatically decomposes user queries into task frameworks and processes them across different knowledge domains in parallel. This modular approach, combined with its native coding capability, ensures logical rigor while enabling diverse, structured outputs.
“At Ant Group, we believe Artificial General Intelligence should be a public good—something that benefits everyone, not just experts,” said He Zhengyu, Chief Technology Officer of Ant Group. “LingGuang is bringing every user their own personal AI developer: someone who can code, create visuals, build apps, and turn complex ideas into simple solutions—right in your pocket.”
