Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have deepened their partnership to co-develop and deploy a rack-scale AI infrastructure design in India based on AMD’s “Helios” platform. Powered by AMD Instinct™ MI455X GPUs, next-generation AMD EPYC™ “Venice” CPUs, AMD Pensando™ Vulcano NICs, and the open ROCm™ software ecosystem, Helios is engineered for high-performance, efficient, and flexible sovereign AI deployments.
The announcement aligns with India’s push for sovereign AI capabilities and large-scale infrastructure to support hyperscalers, AI companies, and enterprises. Helios is purpose-built to meet the demands of next-generation AI workloads, offering a complete, open rack-scale solution that reduces complexity and accelerates innovation.
