AIA Contract Documents (ACD), the industry standard for construction agreements that support more than $100 billion in contract value each year, has announced Scott Wolfe as Chief Executive Officer, as the company continues to expand its technology capabilities and deliver greater value to the construction industry.
Construction projects are complex and inherently risky, with owners, architects, and contractors navigating delays, unexpected challenges, and competing priorities every day. Wolfe's deep understanding of these complexities has shaped his customer-first approach to innovation, focused on developing practical solutions that simplify workflows, improve transparency, and address real industry needs.
His leadership builds on ACD's longstanding role in bringing project stakeholders to the same table with balanced, coordinated agreements and forms that work together from contract to closeout, providing a common foundation the industry has trusted since 1888.
"When people choose AIA Contract Documents, they're choosing a system the whole industry trusts, and that makes every yes easier," said Wolfe. "That's our foundation: common ground for everyone who builds. Our job is to keep earning that choice."
Wolfe's hiring comes as ACD continues to modernize its contracting solutions to better serve evolving needs of customers and prepares to release its 2027 contract documents, a once-a-decade update that will shape how owners, architects, and contractors work together for years to come.
ACD also named Brian Megless Chief Marketing Officer, with a focus on accelerating company growth, strengthening customer engagement, and deepening relationships with association partners. Megless brings more than 25 years of building demand and high-performing marketing and revenue teams at Procore, Levelset, and Prokeep.
Together, new leadership positions ACD for next phase of innovation and growth, with emphasis on strengthening technology capabilities, investing in talent, and accelerating development of solutions addressing evolving needs of construction professionals.
