Nota AI has successfully integrated its lightweight AI optimization technology with Sony’s IMX500 smart image sensor, an advanced chipset combining an image sensor and logic chip for on-device data processing. This collaboration, supported by Korea’s National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), powers smart traffic solutions, including pedestrian safety management and traffic volume analysis, with exceptional performance and minimal power consumption.
In the AI Voucher Project, Nota AI’s smart traffic solution, powered by Sony IMX500 AI cameras, achieved 100% accuracy. This milestone highlights the solution’s ability to deliver high-performance AI without compromising accuracy, even on compact, low-power hardware. The achievement was showcased in the Edge AI Foundation webinar, “EDGE AI Experts Reveal Pedestrian Tragedy Prevention Secrets,” where Nota AI’s solution was lauded as a best-case study for power efficiency and cost reduction.
